Heavy Equipment Service Technician
YOU
The person in this role will be responsible for servicing and repairing heavy equipment and/or diesel engines at our shop or onsite at customer locations.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
- You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all components of heavy equipment such as electrical codes, engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, power generation and power trains
- You will understand exchange parts process and cost analysis of repairs for equipment
- You will create, track and formalize work order tickets
MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS
- REQUIRED: High School Diploma or (GED) equivalent
- REQUIRED: Prior technical training and experience of heavy machinery / equipment
- REQUIRED: Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong customer service skills, mechanical aptitude, professional demeanor and always "safety-first" mentality every hour of every day
JOB FACTS
- WORK SHIFT: Standard shift is M-F 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime hours and weekends may be required as necessary to repair equipment
- Overnight travel to jobsite locations will be required
- Will require physical movement and field work as listed in the job description
